David Vara, PE

Dave is a geotechnical engineer experience on a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects, including major design-build projects, evaluation and remediation of landslides, water and wastewater plants, design of shoring systems, and seismic evaluations.  His experience includes site characterization; design and analysis of driven piles, drilled shafts, and micropiles; site-response analysis and liquefaction hazard evaluation; slope stability; design and analysis of retaining walls and shoring systems; risk-based geotechnical analysis; and numerical modeling.  His responsibilities include preparing budgets, managing project staffing, overseeing field exploration programs, conducting and reviewing geotechnical analysis, and reviewing and preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations.
