Shannon & Wilson is providing geotechnical design and construction management services to the BNSF Railway associated with the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) new Gold, Northwest, and North Metro mass transit lines.  To accommodate the commuter rail lines within the right-of-way, RTD is realigning the BNSF track and constructing new structures along much of the Gold and Northwest line corridors.  Along the Brush subdivision, RTD is extending BNSF receiving tracks and constructing structures to support both the BNSF and commuter rail tracks within the BNSF right-of-way.
