Roberto is a geotechnical engineer with over 41 years of experience including tunnel engineering, foundation design and slope stabilization. He brings experience in the installation of driven piles, slurry walls and slurry trenches, and has been resident engineer for the enlargement of approximately 25 railroad tunnels. Roberto has served as Project Manager for the design, plans and specifications for enlargement of both railroad and highway tunnels and has experience with design, load testing, and construction of steel, concrete, and cast-in-place piles for buildings, bridges, and piers. He has also designed stabilization measures, and developed plans and specifications for rock slopes along railroads and highways utilizing scaling, rock bolts, and shotcrete.
