Senior Engineer


Vonmarie serves as the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager for the Shannon & Wilson St. Louis office. She specializes in the development and implementation of geotechnical investigations involving field reconnaissance, subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, engineering analysis and design recommendations for residential, commercial, and industrial sites, as well as various infrastructure projects. She has performed slope stability analysis, design of below grade structures, design of shallow and deep foundations, settlement analysis, provided retaining wall design criteria, seismic site class determination, spectral matching and scaling of ground motion time histories, and directing/logging of geotechnical explorations. Construction observation duties have included oversight of construction activities and conformance to project specifications for shallow foundations. 

Vonmarie has managed due diligence for wind energy projects acquisition, evaluated energy markets, and managed construction and operations of small-scale wind projects. She has also performed and collaborated in the investigation of Environmental Critical Issues Analysis for wind energy projects.
