Nathan Adamczak

Nathan Adamczak began his career at Shannon & Wilson in 2006 as a laboratory technician and has worked his way up to a key player in the geotechnical engineering group. While in our material testing laboratory, Nathan received extensive experience in laboratory testing of asphalt, concrete, and soils. Nathan participates in the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and Concrete and Cement Reference Laboratory (CCRL) proficiency sample testing for our AASHTO-accredited laboratory. He has also conducted shear wave velocity testing and has conducted sampling for geotechnical verification testing. Nathan has been responsible for completing soil compaction and concrete field testing on hundreds of projects across remote and urban Alaska. 

Since excelling into an engineering role, Nathan has been involved on multiple projects using ground improvement techniques including Deep Dynamic Compaction, Vibro-Compaction, and Compaction Grouting. He is experienced in geotechnical exploration with hollow stem auger drilling, monitoring pile installation, and construction observations.
