Mia Ormsbee

Mia Ormsbee is a Geology Staff Team member and Soils Laboratory Technician. She has experience preparing and running a variety of soil laboratory tests in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards, including Moisture Content, Atterberg Limits, Grain Size Analysis, Hydrometer, Moisture-Density Relationship, Direct Shear, Swell/Consolidation, Constant and Falling Head Permeability, and Pinhole Dispersion. She also has experience with aggregate testing, including Sodium Sulfate Soundness, Freeze-Thaw testing, and Los Angeles Abrasion.
