Rob Lawrence has over 30 years of geotechnical engineering and project delivery experience, providing geotechnical, structural, and project management services for a multitude of projects, including power generation facilities, bridge and roadway infrastructure, and commercial/industrial facilities. His diverse experience includes shallow foundation design, deep foundation design, embankment stability and settlement analyses, earth retaining structure analysis and design, ground improvement methods for settlement and seismic mitigation, contract document preparation, and construction quality assurance/quality control.
With well over 200 infrastructure projects throughout California, the Intermountain Region, and the Eastern United States, Rob has developed, implemented, and successfully delivered geotechnical engineering studies and Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) deliverables through governing review agencies such as SCDOT, NCDOT, ITD, MDT, CALTRANS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Western Federal Lands, US Fish and Wildlife, and other state and local agencies. He has been the Engineer of Record and lead structural designer for several new and widened bridges and specialty retaining structures throughout California and the Northeastern United States, and has served as the Resident Engineer on both roadway widening and new bridge construction projects.
