Vice President, Senior Engineer
Chuck Burgert is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with Shannon & Wilson’s satellite office in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he provides project management, technical analysis, review, and supervision for a wide range of geotechnical engineering projects. With over 40 years of experience, Chuck has completed site investigations and foundation design recommendations for more than 750 structures across 45 states and overseas, including Europe, Africa, Micronesia, and the Middle East. His project experience spans transportation infrastructure such as highways, bridges, airports, and railroads, as well as industrial, commercial, and municipal facilities, including water and power plants, hotels, hospitals, museums, mining operations, and communications infrastructure.
