Andrea Tang

Andrea Tang joined Shannon & Wilson's Portland office in 2025. She has considerable experience in geotechnical analyses, foundation design, subsurface investigations, and construction observation for public and private infrastructure projects. Andrea has contributed to research on driven pile foundations, applying soil mechanics principles through physical modeling and software analysis. Her technical experience includes the design and analysis of deep and shallow foundations, retaining structures, tunnels, and dams, as well as slope stability, settlement, liquefaction, and one-dimensional site response analyses. Andrea has experience with geotechnical analysis tools and engineering software, including Settle3D, LPILE, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, DEEPSOIL, SeismoSignal, gINT, Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD.
