Amber Larson

Amber Larson began her career at Shannon & Wilson in 2022, following 3 years of experience in geologic exploration support, including core logging, field mapping, and sampling techniques. She began as a Laboratory Technician in our construction materials testing lab before transitioning into the Laboratory Manager role for our Fairbanks office. Amber has experience in soil and aggregate laboratory testing, soil compaction field testing, field concrete testing, and concrete strength testing.

As the Fairbanks Laboratory Manager, Amber conducts laboratory technician training, completes billing tasks, prioritizes project testing, and ensures accurate testing results. Amber has a solid foundation in database management and data visualization. She is responsible for facilitating the maintenance of national lab accreditations and managing our Proficiency Sample Testing Program.
