Henry Watson

Henry Watson joined Shannon & Wilson in 2023 after completing his Bachler's degree at the University of Washington. While with Shannon & Wilson Henry has worked both in the field and in the office on a variety of projects. His experience involves engineering report and memo preparation, contributing to the development Shannon & Wilson’s in-house python library, and performing geotechnical calculations (including drilled shaft analysis, bearing resistance calculations, etc.). He has been involved in construction observation including subgrade evaluation, soil excavation, fill placement and compaction, rock grouting observation, rock anchor installation, soldier pile construction, and exploratory drilling observation (including instrument installation and soil logging). He has also worked in Shannon & Wilson’s soils lab running tests such moisture content and Atterberg limits.
