A recent graduate, Peter has focused his work on the natural and developed environments, land use, and energy infrastructure. As a graduate student, he worked with the VLGS Environmental Advocacy Clinic on offshore wind permitting and surface water protections issues. He also conducted soil, plant, and deed surveys on a client’s property through the University of Vermont’s Extension program. For his masters capstone project, he reviewed 70 utility scale solar projects and siting documents for environmental impacts to the Vermont landscape. Outside graduate school, he completed a Science and Policy Fellowship through Clean Wisconsin where he investigated current science, management practices, and regulation related to several environmental and energy issues across Wisconsin.
