Jordan Melby

Jordan Melby is a Senior Engineer at Shannon & Wilson with 13 years of geotechnical engineering experience focused on supporting water, wastewater, and public infrastructure projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. His diverse portfolio includes treatment facilities, tank reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure. Jordan routinely leads geotechnical investigations, evaluates geologic hazards, and develops engineering design parameters through all project phases, from planning and conceptual design to construction support and field observation. His technical expertise includes trench excavation and support, trenchless installation methods, dewatering, foundation and retaining wall design, pavement design, stormwater infiltration systems, and slope stabilization. Known for his client-focused approach, Jordan delivers practical, constructible solutions that support successful project outcomes.
