R. Kevin Tillis, PE, GE

Kevin Tillis has practiced geotechnical engineering in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 40 years. Kevin is responsible for day-to-day operations of Shannon & Wilson's Bay Area office, while concurrently managing and overseeing numerous geotechnical engineering projects. His experience includes management of complex levee, dam, and earthwork projects for local and state agencies. His recent experience includes planning, design, and implementation of construction for over 100 miles of levees in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.  
Kevin has an excellent track record for pushing projects through the design phase into and through the completion of construction. Kevin has worked on a variety of marsh restoration, flood control, and waterfront structure projects. Many of these projects overlie weak deposits of marine soil and peat.  Kevin has planned, designed and implemented construction for over 100 miles of levee in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta and Suisun Marsh.
