Pedro Garcia Montesinos

Geotechnical Staff


Pedro brings two years of geotechnical engineering experience in  planning and performing subsurface explorations, as well as construction observation for projects located in California, Colorado, Idaho ,Wyoming, and Utah. His experience includes, logging subsurface explorations, overseeing construction activities of soil nail walls as well as earthwork, and completing geotechnical lab testing. Pedro has worked with geotechnical analysis and design of deep and shallow foundations for culvert boxes, bridges, and levees. This experience involves settlement analysis, bearing capacity evaluation, and axial capacity evaluation for driven piles and drilled shafts. In addition, Pedro worked on research related with piles under lateral load installed behind the reinforcement zone of MSE walls for his master’s thesis and is an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
