Jacob Sowers

Jacob Sowers is a Field and Laboratory CMT Technician with geotechnical experience in the Rocky Mountain region, and is Shannon & Wilson’s CMT Laboratory Manager. As such, he is responsible for all laboratory certifications, field scheduling, review of daily reports and field/laboratory test results, representing owner interests, and interfacing with contractor and owner representatives.

Jacob also performs field observation/testing/inspection and inspection, as well as laboratory testing on construction projects. His experience includes soil/aggregate testing; observation of drilled shafts and pile driving; testing of concrete, structural masonry, and asphalt; and inspections of foundations, reinforcing steel, and spray-applied fireproofing.
