August Ridde is a Senior Geologist who is experienced with assisting in various geologic and geotechnical engineering projects, and has experience planning and executing subsurface investigations for design and infrastructure projects. His field experience includes coordinating and conducting subsurface explorations, geologic field reconnaissance, overseeing drilling and logging geotechnical borings/coring, excavation and logging of test pits, classification of existing pavement conditions, and the installation, development, and sampling of monitoring wells. Drilling methods used include solid and hollow stem auger, mud and air rotary, cased and uncased downhole hammer casing advance, NQ3 and HQ3 rock core, and sonic drilling. August is also familiar with providing construction observation for deep foundations, tiebacks, and design reports for pavements, retaining walls, and earthwork.
