Symon Ybarra

Symon Ybarra is a Field Manager at Shannon & Wilson’s Boise office with over 4 years of geotechnical field experience. He leads drilling and testing programs for major Idaho Transportation Department projects, including I-84 corridor improvements, SH-16 extensions, and SH-55 upgrades. Additionally, he oversees soil borings, sampling, SPT testing, field logging, and data collection using GPR and Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). He also supports daily field operations, crew coordination, and safety training.
