Stan Crawforth

Stan Crawforth, MSCE, PE

Vice President


Stan is a senior project manager and principal-in-charge for Shannon & Wilson’s Boise office, as well as the Coeur D’Alene and Idaho Falls satellite offices.  He has a strong 35-year background in geotechnical engineering for infrastructure-, mining-, and energy-related projects.  His primary areas of geotechnical expertise include Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls and shoring design, slope stability, landslide remediation, soil improvement, and foundation analysis.  Additionally, Stan is an expert in pavement analysis and design of pavement remediation strategies utilizing Falling Weight Deflection (FWD), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and resilient modulus testing data in pavement mechanistic-empirical design methods
