Jake Risken, PE

Senior Engineer


Jake is a civil engineer specializing in geotechnical forensic evaluations and geotechnical design of transportation infrastructure. He draws experience from geotechnically-complex and politically-sensitive projects associated with Caltrans, WSDOT, high-speed rail, and post-earthquake reconstruction in Christchurch, New Zealand. Jake supports WSDOT’s Fish Passage Barrier Removal Program by providing conceptual geotechnical recommendations targeted to reduce project risk.
