Bradley Sheffield has more than a decade of active professional experience in civil engineering, including geotechnical, civil and environmental projects. He has served as a geotechnical engineer for a variety of projects at the local, state and federal government levels, including experience on transportation, water resource and military projects. Past projects have included roadways, embankments, bridges, levees, recreational facilities/parks, floodwalls, floodgates, flood control structures, water treatment plants, sewer/water supply lines, commercial/residential structures, port/coastal facilities, aviation facilities, and emergency action plans. Bradley has professionally managed elaborate explorations with thousands of linear feet of drilling and specializes in difficult access explorations having managed multiple field explorations in +50’ of water depth by barge, as well as wetland and tidal marsh drilling. He also has experience in laboratory testing, ground improvement, pile load test monitoring, and inspection of auger cast piles for embankment stabilization.
