Aimee Holmes

Aimee Holmes, PE, CEG

Senior Engineer & Geologist

Aimee has experience both in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology. Her work includes performing engineering analysis, subsurface explorations, construction monitoring, and laboratory soil testing. Her engineering analysis experience primarily includes assessment of shallow footing bearing capacity and settlement, settlement mitigation alternatives, shallow and deep bridge foundation calculations, slope stability modeling, retaining wall stability, and pavement design.

Aimee’s construction monitoring experience includes pile driving, drilled shaft construction, auger-cast pile installation, shallow footing inspection, landslide mitigation, and general earthwork.

Aimee is frequently involved in projects from the initiation of the field investigation through preparation of the final report, which has expanded her ability to consider issues such as constructability. She also performs drafting and GIS services for the Portland office.
