Seth Sonnier, RG
Senior Geologist
Seth joined Shannon & Wilson in July 2014 as a geologist leading explorations and working on multiple types of projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Before working at Shannon & Wilson, Seth was an exploration geologist for Aurcana Corp. at the Shafter Silver Mine near the Texas-Mexico border. While working and studying in west Texas, Seth gained extensive experience solving problems in complex geological environments and developed a strong foundation in field work and safety. Seth is a very active part of the geology staff at Shannon & Wilson and makes valuable contributions to projects with his work and knowledge in drilling, geological hazards, and groundwater, and is increasingly skilled in geotechnical site characterization, landslide and rockslope data analysis, and Pacific Northwest geology.
