Veronica Biesiada, RG
Senior Geologist
Veronica Biesiada is a Senior Geologist with 8 years of experience in executing subsurface explorations throughout Oregon and Washington, both on land and over water. This work includes planning and coordinating geotechnical drilling, directing soil and rock sampling and instrumentation on-site, producing accurate boring logs, mapping geologic features as they relate to the project, constructing subsurface profiles, and writing geotechnical data reports. She has worked on large infrastructure projects, including the Hood River-White Salmon Bridge Replacement, I-5 Rose Quarter, I-205 Abernethy Bridge, and the Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge, as well as many smaller projects for cities and counties throughout the Pacific Northwest. Veronica also has extensive experience in construction inspection with various types of foundations, including drilled shafts, rock anchors, rock columns, auger cast piles, etc.
In addition to her fieldwork, Veronica is the Laboratory Manager for the Portland office, for which she oversees laboratory testing programs, maintains the lab’s accreditation, and ensures quality control for testing, sample inventory, and equipment maintenance.
