Senior Engineering Geologist


Sean has provided forensic and engineering geology services since 1992.  Sean’s experience includes forensic investigations, damage causation evaluations, geologic and geotechnical investigations, observation and monitoring of engineered grading and construction, landslide investigations, geologic hazard assessments and environmental impact report (EIR) preparation.

Sean has completed thousands of forensic evaluations of distressed properties for insurance carriers and attorneys. He has determined causation of structure damages related to differential movement of expansive and collapsible soils, long-term settlement distress, construction vibration, construction defects, landslides, earthquakes, erosion, tree roots, drainage control and water intrusion.  

Sean has completed building design and construction services for commercial and residential developments, educational, railroad and municipal facilities. He has been designated as an expert in cases involving landslides, rock fall, slope and retaining wall failures, earthquake damage and construction defects.
