Amber has more than 10 years of field work experience in aquatics and fisheries. Since joining Shannon & Wilson in 2017, she has primarily worked on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) groundwater contamination projects throughout Alaska. She is experienced in public relations, soil and water sample collection, technical writing, and data management. In addition, she is a certified wetland delineator under the 38-Hour Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Training program (Certificate No. 8374). Amber has performed quality assurance reviews, groundwater monitoring and residential well sampling, GIS mapping, reporting, and work plan preparation.
In the past, she has served as the Environmental Youth Programs Coordinator at Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District and worked as a fish and wildlife technician for multiple agencies across the country.
