Senior Environmental Scientist


Tiffany Green is a Senior Environmental Scientist and an Environmental Group Leader in Shannon & Wilson’s Fairbanks office. She brings more than a decade of experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, and geospatial data management, with a strong focus on projects across Alaska. Tiffany is a local subject-matter resource for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations and GIS mapping and regularly supports clients in navigating complex environmental requirements.

She currently serves as the Project Manager for a multi-year, multi-million-dollar Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities program to decommission prohibited Class V injection wells at facilities statewide. Her work includes agency coordination, field oversight, work plan and report authorship and review, laboratory data evaluation, and management of field investigations such as groundwater and soil sampling, air monitoring, and seismic refraction studies. Tiffany has also led and supported numerous projects involving petroleum and chlorinated solvent contamination, remediation, and waste characterization projects.

Tiffany holds a B.S. in Geophysics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has contributed to geophysical and cryosphere research in Alaska and Antarctica. Outside of work, she is passionate about science outreach and actively volunteers for local schools and science fair programs.
