Bob Mitchell

Bob Mitchell, PE, PEng

Board of Directors - Chair

For more than two decades, Bob has specialized in geotechnical and geotechnical earthquake engineering for design-build and design-bid-build projects.  His work includes design and construction of drilled and driven deep foundations; internal- and externally-braced retaining walls; ground improvement to mitigate effects of liquefaction and lateral spreading; sunken caissons; tunnels; soil-structure interaction analyses; and site-specific seismic hazard analyses.  Bob is experienced with driven pile and drilled shaft axial and lateral resistance analyses, Osterberg load testing on drilled shafts, and full-scale driven pile load testing.  He also develops drilled shaft and driven pile driving criteria, specifications, and construction considerations.
