Shannon & Wilson has long-standing working relationships with transit agencies throughout the United States. We have worked directly for transit authorities as well as a subconsultant for the project designers.

We provide recommendations for deep foundations, tunneling, dewatering, embankment design, retained earth, earthquake design criteria, and excavation support. Much of our transit work has taken place in urban corridors, requiring consideration if impacts on adjacent facilities, the surrounding sensitive environment, the local business community, and the neighbors who live along the project alignment. We have experience in developing foundation design and construction alternatives to satisfy design criteria and minimize impacts to the community.

Our project experience includes developing contract documents for both design-bid-build and design-build project delivery methods.
