Mason Craker began his career in environmental geology with Shannon & Wilson in 2021, following the completion of his BS in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.  Since joining the Fairbanks office, he has been heavily involved in per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) projects. Mason has worked in locations all over Alaska in a wide variety of environments including military bases, mines, refineries, and airports. He has gained experience with coordinating subsurface explorations, residential well sampling, field screening and sampling, public relations, analytical data review, drafting Work Plans, and reporting. Additional experience includes overseeing geotechnical subsurface explorations, logging boring samples, and conducting guided excavations.
