Ali Tarokh

Ali Tarokh, PhD, EIT

Geotechnical Engineering Staff

Ali has been involved in laboratory testing of rocks for the past seven years and has extensive experience in conventional and novel testing of geomaterials at different pressures and temperatures and over various time and length scales. He has also practiced numerical analysis of underground structures where as a tunnel engineer, he performed stability analysis of the 2nd Avenue subway in New York City. He has recently joined the geotechnical group in the Los Angeles office where in addition to running the soil laboratory he will be associated with the rock engineering projects such as rock slope stability for the railroad industry.
