Senior Principal Engineering Geologist

Jeff Laird is an engineering geologist and geomorphologist responsible for field mapping, subsurface geologic explorations, and the evaluation of surficial erosional processes, such as landslides, rockfall, and stream and beach erosion.  Jeff has developed sediment budgets, modeled the transport of sediment, designed Erosion and Sediment Control Plans for public and private clients, and designed and monitored measures for stream stabilization.  He has conducted and managed subsurface exploration programs for hydroelectric generation facilities, highways and bridges, industrial buildings, and residential developments.  Jeff has also been project site engineering geologist on landslide and rock slope stabilization projects, and tunnel construction and rehabilitation projects.
