Christine Maher

Christine joined Shannon & Wilson in 2019 after a position as a graduate researcher at Portland State University in which she mapped fault-related deformation across the Hurricane Ridge Fault in the Olympic Mountains, Washington. She has experience in the lab analyzing samples for micro-structures and mineral assemblage, separating accessory geochronological phases from rocks, crushing rocks, and sediment sieving. Christine has performed geological mapping, including in situ rock and geologic contact identifications, drafting maps and cross sections, measuring strike and dip, and interpreting geological history. She is also familiar with scanning electron microscopes, Structure from Motion, and lidar.
