Shervin Jahangirnejad

Shervin Jahangirnejad, PhD, PE


Shervin has 16 years of experience across a range of project management, engineering, and research functions in diverse civil engineering sub-disciplines. His main area of expertise is pavement engineering, including design, analysis, materials, pavement management systems (PMS), non-destructive testing, material testing, evaluation, rehabilitation, and research. Shervin’s project experience includes rigid and flexible pavement design, pavement condition evaluation, and Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) testing. His research experience includes precast concrete pavements, blast furnace slag concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC), full-depth reclamation (FDR), cracking in concrete bridge decks, and Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) database, among other subjects.
